Vintage Sweetness

1910 Pierce Chainless

This was about the most expensive bike that money could buy a hundred years ago – and still so sweet! Check out the fully adjustable handlebars, shock absorbing rear fork and, best of all, chainless drive.

  1. Hey, this is unrelated to the post, but I am wondering if any of the MIT crowd are going to be out at the Darkcross event this Saturday? There’s a non-licensed option for racing for any that may be interested in a little competition. Believe me, there’s no need to be intimidated by a race of this nature. For most, it’s all about fun and participation. (at least that’s what we tell ourselves after finishing mid-pack…)

I’ll be there and it’d be great to bump into some of the Steinbach crowd.

There’s tons of buzz in the Manitoba cycling community about this event. Check it out. http://bikeclub2003.blogspot.com/
