This will be the last ride that will start at 7 am for us. The Woodridge ride will be a perfect longer ride for those who are doing the Latke (Bannock) 200. or a great ride for those who are just out for a cruise.
At Paul’s request I have put in an appeal to “The Big Guy” for warm summer like conditions for this ride. We’ll see how my new Speedplay pedals do on longer rides.
Completed a 70 km ride from Karlstad to Greenbush loop last Sunday morning. Great highway, no hills, ok scenery, little and respectful traffic and yea 20 km of rain.
I’ve volunteered to flip pancakes at the Kleefeld Honey festival pancake breakfast so can’t make it at 7:00 A.M.. When I’m done, I’ll head out towards Woodridge and maybe meet you on the way back.
Too bad Jim, maybe you can tuck a few of those flapjacks and white sauce in your jersey pockets for the group. It will save some breakfast cash $. Re the rain this past weekend, Darren, Shannon, Dale and I were a soaking mess after the Riding Mountain Triathlon/Duathlon. From start to finish, rain, rain and more rain. Shoes finally have dried. Looking forward to Woodridge and hopefully Latke. Have they published the route yet?? Expecting an extra km/hr Jac with the new pedals. Guess who gets to take the lead.
Pete posted route as comment on message regarding Latke 200. I think it is a good change that they made on the route, minor but we get to eat in Richer.
