About bigjac

Just a middle-aged man whose blood pressure and cholesterol were out of wack and needed a tuneup, bad. Then I rekindled my love for riding a bike -- just the simple act of turning the cranks. What happened next is I met a lot of neat people who are as nuts as I am. Ride on.

  1. 135 bpm!! Geez man you’re practically dead. You’ve either got blood like water or arteries like the chunnel! My heart beats faster than that when I mow the lawn.

July 2nd sounds good. I’ll check if they have any problems with a reservation for around 15 riders that a.m. and let you know.

Problem with this new website is that it gets by our firewall at the office – now I’ll never get any productivity after hours!

  2. Way to go Big Jac! I actually entered a handi cap road race on the same day. I was feeling pretty good, but, after 1, yes, ONE lap I was done… A DNF! I am not worthy, I m currently looking for a supplier of HGH so that I may compete at the high level required to ride around in circles at Birds Hill!!
Actually surprised myself, don’t usually quit like that. A first for me, I would have normally finished the race even if I was dead last, for some reason I just decided “enough”.
Perhaps it’s time to start riding and actually seeing whats around me as I ride, rather than just seeing things as a “blur” as they go by…
