how slow can you go?

I was riding rollers this morning and at the end of the ride I was wondering how slow I could go without falling off.

As with every challenge I made the rule that I needed to hold the speed for minimum of 15 seconds to make it count.  My slowest speed 11.4 km/hr.

And yea make sure you have something to hang on to when you do go too slow to stay up cause it hurts.

So rain and snow this week, a little warmer for the weekend, maybe we will be rewarded with sunny warm weekends all through April.

Just a middle-aged man whose blood pressure and cholesterol were out of wack and needed a tuneup, bad. Then I rekindled my love for riding a bike -- just the simple act of turning the cranks. What happened next is I met a lot of neat people who are as nuts as I am. Ride on.

  1. Another thing to try is to take your bike out in this snow and see how slow you can go before you fall over…then make a cycling snow angel! :0 No, I won’t be the first one to try it…

  2. It’s called EXTREAM bordom!! Cannot bring myself to ride to manny more times in the basement!! Perhaps I could put a plank on the basement stairs and get a circuit going from the basement to the living room upstairs, and pretend I am in the alps!! the stairs are a pretty good %!!!
Please make the snow STOP, someone? anyone?
