how come it rained

Walking home from work today, Paul, decked out in yellow rode into town.  What a great day for a bike ride I thought all the way home.  I changed and put my bike on the road, yelling at anyone “Look bare knees, summer is here”  then just past Randolf corner the skies opened up, had visions of a past Woodridge ride, except it wasn’t cold.  I shorten up my ride and had the wind home from the New Bothwell corner.  Passed Ron going out, bet you got wet as well.  It sure feels like summer is finally to go clean my bike.

About bigjac

Just a middle-aged man whose blood pressure and cholesterol were out of wack and needed a tuneup, bad. Then I rekindled my love for riding a bike -- just the simple act of turning the cranks. What happened next is I met a lot of neat people who are as nuts as I am. Ride on.

  1. Finally a ride where the lilly white legs got to see the light of day!!! I’m sure there was more than one driver who reached for there shades as they passed!!

  2. Hey Paul, its okay if your legs are that bright white – think of them like beacons showing the rest of us the way! 🙂 And the drivers have no excuse to say they couldn’t see you.
I think we’re all in the same boat on this one – unless anyone’s “cheating” via good ole “fake n bake”.
