First The Carillon, Then Winnipeg Sun & The Cavalier Chronicle and now…

yup check it out the Park Rapids Enterprise.  The Mennonites in Tights are getting their name out there.  Attached is the article.

I am looking forward to the travel down with Audrey and just getting away to ride bike.  Since it is the 30th anniversary ride they are expecting more riders that the 700 plus they had last year.

See you Park Rapids!

About bigjac

Just a middle-aged man whose blood pressure and cholesterol were out of wack and needed a tuneup, bad. Then I rekindled my love for riding a bike -- just the simple act of turning the cranks. What happened next is I met a lot of neat people who are as nuts as I am. Ride on.

  1. “Leaving On A Bike Ride”

All my bags are packed, I’m ready to go
I’m standin’ here outside my door
I hate to wake you up to say goodbye

But the dawn is breakin’, it’s early morn
Hobbl’n Rob is waitin’, he’s blowin’ his horn
    Already I’m so psyched-up I could die

So kiss me and smile for me
Tell me that you’ll wait for me
Push me like you’ll always let me go

‘Cause I’m leaving on a bike ride
Of this I will not be denied
    Oh, babe, I gotta go

  2. Well done , Ron!!!!!!!

——“One strong wind that blows lonely, seven knees that hurt bad,
all those things that don’t stop us, come what may.
But our rest times are all gone, and we’re bound for movin’ on,
I’ll look for you if you’ve ever lost your way….”
