Check out the “new” Muddy Waters Ride information

I found this information on the MB Cycling Association website.  Looks like the Muddy Waters ride will be new routes and more interesting this year.

Habitat for Humanity Winnipeg-Muddy Waters 100 MARK YOUR CALENDARS-AUGUST 9, 2009 Muddy Waters 100, Winnipeg’s longstanding annual century ride has teamed up with Habitat for Humanity to create a day when all Winnipeggers can ride their bike. Habitat for Humanity Winnipeg Muddy Waters 100 is a fully supported mass bike ride featuring a new family friendly 25 kilometer urban ride on Winnipeg bike routes, a 60 kilometer urban-rural ride, and the 100 km and 100 mile distances that Muddy Waters is well known for. This year, the ride begins and ends at The Forks. It will begin with a police escorted section and will feature, depending on route, five rest-energy stops and mechanical support. Mark your calendars today! Registration information will be available in late April.

About bigjac

Just a middle-aged man whose blood pressure and cholesterol were out of wack and needed a tuneup, bad. Then I rekindled my love for riding a bike -- just the simple act of turning the cranks. What happened next is I met a lot of neat people who are as nuts as I am. Ride on.
