One might think that MIT, Steinbach`s premier road cycling club, is more about the meal at the end of the ride than it is about riding. It`s tough to argue, when the mid ride, 5 dollar “snack” involves a waffle, white sauce and bacon, not to mention kibitzing with the others along for the ride.
But, I’d like to think MIT has more to do with open, really straight roads, blue skies, fresh farm aromas, zero elevation changes, snowdrifts in April, gravel on occasion and working up a good, steady 30kph average by July.
Unless your RJ. Then it appears it really is about the food. Really BIG food.
