It was a hot humid afternoon when I took my R800 Cannondale down the road to Mitchell, then back to town for a few intervals in the plus 34 degree C weather.
Oh my oh my she’s fast & handles slick. A little rigid, but very responsive I think I’m going to like it.
Sweet!
Great looking ride, Jac! Hope you’ll still ride with us (if we can keep up!).
WOW – very nice!!!! Are you sure you still want to ride with the rest of us paupers????
Great looking set of wheels BigJac. No excuses now for not taking the sprints to the line. Looking forward to seeing it on Saturday. Also took in a 30k ride yesterday in the heat … wind was for once, wonderfully accepted and appreciated. After my time in MSP last week, I realized how much fun “hills” are to ride on. Makes sense to actually use every gear we have and then some. Was a great week of training, both heat and terrain for the Kenora event. FYI, Rod Thiessen was 1st in his age category, Karen Toews and Darren Reimer were both 3rd. I also had a great race finishing off my “Sprint series”. One more Olympic event to go in Clear Lake. It’s been a great summer to ride.
